Football League Upholds Burmese Trio's Suspension
18 Jan 2005 (VOA) - The Asean Football Federation has endorsed the recent suspensions of three Burmese players for on-the-field misconduct.
Burma's national football federation suspended reserve goalkeeper Tun Tun Lin for nine months, while teammates Zaw Lin Tun and Moe Kyaw Thu each received six month suspensions.
The three players were sent off during a Tiger Cup match against Singapore on January second at the Singapore National Stadium.
In addition to upholding the suspensions, the AFF has also fined Burma's football federation 5,000 dollars.
